How to 'boil' your eggs in the Air Fryer
Oct 21, 2025
Yes... you read correctly. You CAN 'boil' eggs in your airfryer and it's a game-changer.
Don't worry about boiling water and trying to guess how many minutes you need. No more walking away and burning your pot (been there, done that!).
Just pop your eggs into your air fryer basket and let them ‘boil’ for however long you need for eggs just how you like them.
INGREDIENTS:
4 eggs (preferably room temperature, see notes below)
METHOD:
1. Place eggs gently into the air fryer basket. Cook at 120°C, depending to your liking:
(Note that these timings are for room-temperature eggs)
- Soft-boiled: 8 minutes
- Semi-set: 10 minutes
- Medium: 12 minutes
- Hard-boiled: 14 minutes
2. Once the air fryer is finished, use a large spoon to lift the eggs out of the basket and transfer to a bowl of cold water for 2 minutes.
HOW TO EAT:
For soft and medium eggs, place into egg cups, chop off tops and serve.
For hard boiled, gently tap the wide end on a bench until the shell cracks and peel off in pieces.
STORE:
Boiled eggs can be stored in their shell, in the fridge for up to 4 days.
